Bring the family to Oak Park this Sunday August 14th for magic, music, tea, lawn games, fashion and fun! Steampunk Chicago is proud to present our monthly summer outing, Watch Chains and Lace.
High Tea is from 4PM – 5PM, and our socializing, lawn games and events are from 5PM onward.
Pleasant Home is a beautiful craftsman style mansion in Oak Park, Illinois. It features amazing woodwork, parlors, and an automaton music machine, to name a few highlights. It’s a perfect setting for our summer series of interesting acts, shows, musicians and art.
We have a bartender serving fine spirits for adults, and lemonade for the wee ones. Join us early for high tea and desserts. Tickets for the event and our high tea at 4PM are still available!

What time does your Watch Chains and Lace actually start? All I can find is that the tea is at 4p and events at 5p so does that mean that it starts at 4p or do people come earlier? If so, how much earlier?

The tea is from 4-5pm (advance tickets available), and the events, music, lawn games and finery is from 5PM onward (tickets in advance or at the door).
