The Bristol Renaissance Faire invites all their guests to dress up in your finest time-traveling attire. It’s their annual Steampunk Invasion weekend. Techno-Victorians can jump the time stream August 6 &7, 2016, 10am – 7pm.
The Absinthe Bar: This weekend only: The return of the Absinthe Bar, and a special visit from the Green Fairy.
The Steampunk Promenade Costume Contest with cash prizes for the best man, woman and couple whose costumes “put the Punk in Steam”. Saturday only. Register at Guest Services anytime before 2pm. Mingle at the Maypole from 2pm-2:30pm for anonymous judging and a group photo. Winners will be announced at the Globe Stage at 5:30pm.

The Pub Crawl: Play the best beer game this side of 1599 at Bristol’s legendary Pub Crawl. Travel with your own bartender, for immediate service, and choose from more than 20 beers on tap or a delicious mead as you go. The Faire also offers a gluten free cider. FOUR alcoholic drinks are included in the Pub Crawl – one at each pub.The Pub Crawl departs at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. The Pub Crawl departs at 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. Every Pub Crawl costs $45 to party!
