The Victorian Era and Renaissance collide at the Bristol Steampunk Invasion weekend. Anachronauts should synchronize their calendars for August 5 & 6, 2017, 10am – 7pm.
The Bristol Renaissance Faire sports 30 acres of pure fun, 20 stages of variety entertainment, a fully armored joust, arts and crafts, delicious food, fine spirits, music, dance, parades, rides and the Queen and her glittering Court.
Special events will be held for the Steampunk Invasion.
Children (12 & younger) Saturday and Sunday: 12:30 p.m. be in the Bristol’s Kids Kingdom area. No need to pre-register for the Children’s Contest!
The Absinthe Bar: This weekend only: The return of the Absinthe Bar, and a special visit from the Green Fairy.
Saturday: The Steampunk Promenade Costume Contest with Grand Prizes for the best man, woman and couple whose costume “put the Punk in Steampunk.” Register at Guest Services anytime before 2 p.m. to receive your entry number. Mingle at the Maypole from 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. for anonymous judging. Be at the Globe Stage at 5:30 p.m. for a group photo – contestants sit in the first 5 rows. Semi-Finalists will be called to the stage for additional photos. The Champions will be announced thereafter.
Sunday: The Marvelous Steampunk Accessory Contest with prizes for the most epic accessories. Register at Guest Services anytime before 2 p.m. to receive your entry number. Mingle at the Maypole from 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. for anonymous judging. Be at the Globe Stage at 5:30 p.m. for a group photo – contestants sit in the first 5 rows. The winners will be announced after the group photo!
Ticket prices are $25.95 for Adults. $11.50 for Children. Children 4 and under are always free. Members of the military with valid ID and seniors age 65+ receive $2.00 off any regularly priced Box Office ticket.

Bristol offers both a preferred parking lot near the front gate for $5 (cash only) and a free parking lot to the far north side of the faire (entrance off the frontage road only). Both lots are mowed grass fields. There is handicapped parking available in the preferred parking lot.
