I heard about this movie a bit ago and checked out the short film. I was absolutely struck by it. If you haven’t seen it – and you still have no idea what I’m talking about, then watch it below.
Now with that established – the short film is, as you may have noticed called “9”. And, as you may have also already figured, Hollywood was tres impressed and has adapted it into a feature length film complete with a host of celebrity voices and underlying Anglo-Christian ideology – okay so I’m assuming on that last part.
Sardonic comments aside – it looks absolutely amazing, and the original short had me watching with my jaw dropped, I can only imagine the movie. The entire theme of the film seems to be Apocolypse-it-yourself, I can’t think of a better time for such a thing as – well – later this year.

On a side note, Comcast (who can die a slow death for all I care) does have Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs on free on-demand – watch it – you can’t beat incestuous siblings in bondage gear blowing holes in the walls of their rotting mansion with a pump shot gun while a tongueless boy and a kid from the local ghetto try to find a stash of gold… yeah just watch it.
