The current Crowdfunder Roundup has some special and unique music treats for you this month!
Local punk rock marching band Mucca Pazza is raising funds to cover production costs for their fourth album “L.Y.A.!” They point out “although the album is ready for release, we still need to pay for nearly all of the production costs. That means we need to pay for our recording engineer/producer, artwork design, barcodes, shipping, test pressings, and mastering. But that’s only half of it. Even once we’ve repaid our debts to those amazing, beautiful people, we still need to get it out to all of you amazing, beautiful people.”
Potential perks include sheet music, bumper stickers, pom-poms, and underwear.
They will be playing a Halloween show at Lincoln Hall at 2424 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL.
The campaign ends on October 10, 2014 (11:59pm PT).

This Way to the Egress has been working on their third album “Great Balancing Act.” Having self-financed their previous releases, they turned to crowd funding in order to work with producer Roger Greenawalt.
Their first day on Kickstarter earned them a slot in the “What’s Popular” section and they received 69% of their minimum goal in seven days!
The campaign ends on October 18, 2014, at 10:52 AM CDT.

Ethnomusicologist Crystal Bright has been collaborating with DividingME Photography/Rusty McDonald on “The Absolute Elsewhere.” Bright’s dark but playful melodies will compliment McDonald’s ethereal camerawork.
If Crystal Bright and the Silver Hands reach their stretch goal, they will also release the album on vinyl!
The campaign ends on October 19, 2014 (11:59pm PT).
