The Steampunk Tea Time at Geek Bar Beta in December was a success. The next one will be on January 17, 2015, at 3pm, and it will be an ongoing monthly event!
After the steampunks dissipated from December’s tea, staff asked, “Is this going to be a regular thing?” Indeed, we decided. The Steampunk Chicago flag hung on the wall for the occasion. I asked if the bar wanted to leave it up. Geek Bar Fleet Admiral David Zoltan responded, “Sure! I like having cool stuff on the walls!”
It will not be a high tea. They serve rotating experimental food and drink items from the Geek Bar Beta Lab! Special cocktails, tea, biscuits and vegan and gluten-free items will be available.
Geek Bar Beta is all-ages until 9pm. 10% off for cosplayers!
