Well I tried to be coy and coerce Mr. M to do this, but as it turns out he’s neither into collusion nor nepotism, so I’m saying “why not” and writing this myself.
That’s right fine readers of Steampunk Chicago, I the Lord Baron himself, have decided to unleash upon the world my version of “music”, The Swing Mechanical E.P. Thanks to Mr. Automatic and his fine record label, Dead 2 Me Records, for releasing it as well. If it wasn’t for them I would have had to implement whatever it is these days the masses use to procure music, and I wouldn’t want to do that. I’m a Lord Baron after all.
The E.P. features my own custom blend of harder techno and industrial dance music beats artfully melded with the likes of classic big band, jazz, swing and the like. I sometimes hear the word “electroswing” thrown around to describe it. I for one am far too discerning and super-incumbent to throw funny words like that around.
That aside, it is the kind of thing you would listen to if you were, I don’t know, drinking a; what do you people drink? Gin? A gin in some speakeasy somewhere. It’s great. You’ll love it.
