The anachronistic studies know no bounds, especially when it comes to all things steam, swords, clocks, and corsets! This weekend July 19 and 20, step back in time at Bristol Renaissaince Faire for the annual steampunk invasion!
The steampunk invasion of Bristol was started by fans in 2010 and was since picked up by the Faire as an official event. All rennies, steampunks, pirates, gentlemen of fortune, and maidens of adventure are welcome! Steampunk or ren fair dress is encouraged, though not required. Special treats abound for those intrepid time travelers headed back to the 1500’s!
Absinthe Bar!
The return of the Absinthe Bar returns once more again (near the Lord Mayor’s Forum Stage)! Be on the lookout for a special visit from the Green Fairy.
Mementos!
You may purchase your Absinthe shot in a commemorative Bristol shot glass! Available only at the Absinthe Bar.
Promenade! Saturday Only!
Join the Steampunk Promenade Costume Contest with cash prizes for the most elegant man, woman and couple.
Register at Guest Services anytime before 2pm.
Winners will be announced at the Lord Mayor’s Forum stage at 4:30pm.
Accessory Contest! Sunday only!
The Marvelous Steampunk Accessory Contest has prizes for the three most unique accessories.

Mingle at the Maypole from 2pm – 2:30pm on Saturday and Sunday and a group photo.
